If you have someone in-house who would rather handle the updates themselves, hosting-only plans start at $50 + GST per month. Same servers, same backups, but WordPress maintenance sits with you and any help is billed by the hour.

Yes, and we test for it. Every build has to load properly on rural broadband and a two bar mobile signal, not just on fibre in an office.

In practice that means keeping the page weight down, compressing every image and serving it at the size it actually displays, and checking the site on a throttled connection before it goes live. It is the reason we do not use page builders, which ship a lot of code you never asked for.

It will be built so it can. Every page ships with a proper heading structure, meta titles and descriptions, structured data and a sitemap, and we connect Search Console and Google Analytics before launch.

That gets you the technical foundation. Ranking for competitive terms on top of that takes ongoing content and SEO work, which we quote separately. Anyone promising you page one as part of a build is guessing.

Usually you, because you know your products better than we do. We give you a page-by-page outline of what each section needs and roughly how long it should be, so it is not a blank page.

If writing it is genuinely not going to happen, tell us at the quote stage and we will work out an option with you. What we will not do is launch a site full of placeholder text.

Completely. The site, the domain, the content and the hosting account are all in your name.

WordPress is open source, so there is no licence tying you to us. If you ever want to move to another host or another agency, you can take the whole thing with you.

Tell us the date in the first conversation and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable. A 4 to 8 week build with content ready can usually make a seasonal deadline if you start early enough.

What does not work is a six week run at a twelve week build. If the date is tight we would rather scope the site down to something we can land on time than miss it.

Sometimes fixing is the right answer and we will say so. If the design still holds up and the real problem is speed, security or search, a website health check will tell you what is actually wrong before you spend money on a rebuild.

Where a rebuild does make sense is when the site was built more than three or four years ago, is hard to update, or falls apart on a phone.
